A sample of our items for sale

Below is just an example of the many different items we have in our shop. Due the these items being from a past era, we only have one or two examples of each.

700 Series - Cream
Restored and wired to work. In the telephone's heyday, this colour was particularly popular, since it matches most colour schemes.

1930s Bakelite - Internal Bell set
The 200 series bakelite telephone or "pyramid phone" was designed in 1929 and became the GPO standard phone during the 1930s
1970s Raleigh Chopper
That 1970's bicycle  that you just had to have if you were a child of that era. The Chopper was an icon. There was no other bicycle that quite came close.
1950s Muffin the Mule
Muffin was one of the first children's T.V. puppets appearing from the late 1940's with Annette Mills back in the days of black and white television with noises off, (nostalgia!, nostalgia!).
Robbie the Robot
Manufactured in the 1950's by Nomura. This version of Robby the Robot features remote control walking forward action with lighted and moving pistons. Made of tin, and stands 9" tall.
1948 Admiral
This is a wonderful little Bakelite Floor Model with a 10" screen.
It measures only about 32" tall and 17" wide, I have read somewhere that it was the largest piece of Bakelite ever cast, at least up till that time.
Admiral made several versions of this set, some had one chassis and some had two, this is a two chassis model with the power supply and audio section on the lower chassis.
PILOT Little Maestro
Released February 1939. The small cabinet with deep coloured veneer with lighter inlay looks most attractive.
HMV 1930s Gramophone
This is a complete, playable gramophone within a smart black leather/ wooden case with it's own record holder compartment and two small tins of wooden/fibre needles and Edison Bell standard chronic semi permanent needles.
